Cheng Si Yuen (China-Int’l) Hepatitis Research Foundation (CSY Foundation) is celebrating their 17th Anniversary at Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel, and conducts conference on Hepatitis and announced their breakthrough against Hepatitis C treatment. CSY Foundation invited Professor Dr. Raymond Schinazi to conduct a speech for the first time to share the new medicine development process, the impact on direct acting anti-viral agents (DAAs). Professor Lau Ka Kit, George announce the addition of protease inhibitor to dual DAAs therapy(NS5A inhibitors and NS5B polymerase inhibitors) is expected to further shorten the duration and hence the cost of treatment for chronic hepatitis C infection.
